GIN PIT 5

This, the penultimate event of the CATC 13 Road/Trail Event Series. Only 5 Chorley runners managed the 20 mile journey down the M61 to Tyldesley, in what became a very ‘fast and furious’ trail race on a beautiful Sunday morning.

238 runners took part in this event with the eventual winner coming in at a time of 26 Minutes 15 Seconds.

1^st back for Chorley (14^th Place) in a time of 30:29 was Robert Walsh, followed by David Parkinson (34^th) 32:54, Paul Wareing (89^th), Christine Sweatman (184^th) and Mike Coppin (236^th) 1:06:50.
