Cuerden Valley Parkrun # 74 - 17/01/2015

On this cold, hailstone covered 'parkrun' course, 132 runners ventured out on this the 74^th in the 'Valley' of only which 5 from Chorley made the run.

1^st for Chorley this week and 11^th overall was Robert Walsh (21:44) with full focus solely on Sundays 'Inskip Half Marathon'. Not too far behind in 21^st place was (23:45) followed by Alison Parkinson (28:29) 63^rd, junior runner Alex Glew (36:27) 106^thcompeting in his first 'parkrun' and Tom Hilton (40:24) 121^st rounding up the last of the Chorley runners.

This was a great effort all the Chorley runners in these 'Baltic' conditions. An incredible 20 runners PB's.

The 'Chorley Road/Trail Grand Prix' events will be starting next month with the 'Lostock 6' on the 22^nd February 2015. Don't let all that great training go to waste and support the club in these great local events.
