Cuerden Valley parkrun # 73 

On this Blustery but beautiful morning 142 runners ventured out on this the 73^rd event in the ‘Valley’ of only witch 7 from Chorley made the run…. This afternoons Mid Lancs XC could have been a deciding factor for this weeks ‘parkrun’.

1^st for Chorley this week and 2^nd overall was Robert Walsh (20:23). Not too far behind in 14^th was Mr ‘parkrun’ Michael Hendry (24:12), 21^st Paul Jackson (25:15), 51^st Alison Parkinson (28:08), 93^rd Les Paul (33:29), 131^st Tom Hilton (43:06), 139^th Mike Coppin (44:27) rounding up the last of the Chorley runners.

This was a great effort from all the Chorley runners in these blustery conditions and out of all of today’s runners only 11 achieved PB’s.

If you’re struggling to make it down to one of the clubs training nights on a regular basis, this is a great course to build up speed and stamina with a competitive edge ready for the ‘Chorley Road/Trail Grand Prix’.
