CLGP- road and trail series

Event 3 - Radcliffe 10km - 27 April, 2014

The third Central Lancs Grand-Prix fixture broke an event record by hosting almost 400 runners; sadly only three came from Chorley so the team once again suffered a heavy penalty of about 1,000 points.

On a sunny Sunday morning, the course route took in the surroundings of the Irwell Valley, and alternated between being pancake flat along the canals and surprisingly hilly elsewhere.

Phil Iddon (73, 42:06) led the way, with Andrew Clough (106, 44:24) not too far behind.  Michael Hendry found things a bit tougher further back (195, 49:13).

The next fixture in the series is Haigh Hall (4) on 14 May.
