Northern Track and Field 2014
IntroductionNorthern Track and Field events (4 in total) are for seniors only, but athletes of 15 and above are OK to compete. The events are friendly affairs, and provide a low risk, easy way of trying track and field events. Each team has up to 2 athletes per event, and points are awarded for final positions. As well as athletes, we need marshals, time keepers and helpers on the day (they get a free packed lunch). For more information please contact Pat, Simon, Alan or Stuart.
This year we are up against clubs such as Wigan, Horwich, Oldham, Stockport and Barrow.
Events start at 11:30, and we have to submit competitors for all events before then. Therefore, please get at the event for 11:00 or let Simon Townsend know what events you would like to be considered for (as most event only allow to competitors from each club). The events are great fun, and the Chorley team always has a great laugh, and thoroughly enjoyable day.
