It's the FINAL SportsHall event of the Lancashire season this Sunday 9th February.Lancashire SportsHall Age 8 - 14 (ages at 31/8/2013)
The indoor event is 9th February at Stanley Park, Blackpool. Any junior member age 8 and over can compete. The club supports the entry to this event with a subsidy, so please ensure I know you're attending to register you in advance. Event details are attached. Please return to me directly at 11 Warton Place, Chorley, PR7 2RQ, or to Holy Cross training session 3rd February. You pay £3 for the day's activities, the club pays £2. Please let me know preferred events, although, we will be asking team members to take on a variety of activities to ensure we have at least one entrant in each event across the day, to maximise team points.
The club is currently overall 5th in Lancashire, and we'd really like to maintain this position, and see if it can be improved.The more athletes who take part the more likely we'll be to get points! If you need help with transport, please let me know as there will be a way of getting you there!
This is the last SportsHall event I'll be co-ordinating for the club. After almost 3 years, I'll be handing over to another volunteer. I think we've established the club at this important winter competition, and it's crucial for the club and junior development to continue to attend these events. If you think you'd like to do this next season, please do ask about what's involved, so we can have a smooth transition. It's not that much involved, and is Sept - March only. Thanks for all your support and encouragement over the past few years.
