Lancs XC 2014

The Chorley juniors were out in force at the Lancashire Cross Country Championships in Witton Park. The U11 girls team took 6th place, and comprised of Amber Boardman, Emily Warren, Isobelle Farron and Lauren Prince, and supported by Alice Singleton, and Layla Alton. Result of the day was 2nd place for the U11 boys team of Jack Hughes, Daniel Liley, Joe Bowles and Tom Perks, heped by James Hale, Harry Potts, Martin Rimmer, Finlay Highes and Joseph Chadwick. U13 girls Emily Hunter and Caitlin McCarrick finished together in 35th and 36th position respectively. The U13 boys team of Ben Hughes, Luke Hunter, Joshua Letch, Scott Gouldthorpe and Jacob Hughes took 3rd place. With lots of seniors injured and/or taking a rest from Christmas/New Year races, it was up to Barry Chester to take 1st place in V65 race, supported by Phil McCullugh.
