Junior Results Senior ResultsThe 3rd Horwich Jubilee(5) race saw Shaun Wareing reclaiming his old running shoes and gaining a remarkable 18th place first time out ahead of Martin Quinn(32nd), dad Paul(33rd), Bill Beckett(35th), Mark Bond(42nd) and Paul Jackson(47th). Further back Christine Sweatman(111th) lead John Swift(116th). Chorley was the 4th team with John(V70) and Christine(L55) both 2nd with Paul Wareing(V50) 3rd. In the junior race Niall Maloney was 9th ahead of Kasi Holden(13th), Caitlin McCarrick(17th) and Oliver Nickson(26th). Kasi & Caitlin were 2nd & 3rd G13s. In the series todate Caitlin is now 2nd girl overall and 1st U13 with in the seniors only John Swift(34th) holding a place.

Junior Results Senior ResultsThe Horwich Jubilee(5) race was contested by fewer athletes than last month but 7 athletes completed the junior race with Alice Singleton(33rd) being 1st in her age group, PJ Holden(11th) & Caitlin McCarrick(25th) both 2nd, with Emily Hunter(26th) & Kasi Holden(28th) both 3rd supported well by Niall Maloney(19th) and Charlotte Lavin(31st). The girls were the 2nd team. The seniors had only 4 competitors with Chris Lane(20th), Laura Murphy(53rd), John Swift(83rd) & Mike Coppin(102nd). Despite this we picked up two prizes as Laura was 4th lady & 1st LV35 whilst John was 2nd V70.

Junior Results Senior ResultsThe Horwich jubilee 5 mile race contained 13 Chorley athletes, which was 3 greater than the required 10, with Calum Cant(10th) leading home from Keith Johnston(17th), Chris Lane(36th) and Martin Quinn(46th). Paul Wareing(72nd) was ahead of Jonathan Burgess(103rd) with a good Paul Jackson(128th) race just edging Laura Murphy(137th). Simon Townsend(158th) was well ahead of Steven Wilde(215th), John Swift(226th), Tom Hilton(253rd) & Mike Coppin(255th). Chorley was the 4th team with Calum being the 1st junior, John Swift the 2nd V70 & Laura the 3rd LV35. The junior race also had Chorley athletes where PJ Holden was 9th overall, Caitlin McCarrick(20th), Hannah Lavin(24th) & Charlotte Lavin(34th). Caitlin was 1st U13G and PJ, Hannah and Charlotte were all 3rd in their age categories which was a very commendable result.
