June/July 2012 Update

June 17th Ironman UK 70.3 (half Ironman distance) Joe Duckworth 76th overall 2000 competed. 8th in the 40-45 male catagory. Time 5:13. Qualified for the Ironman 70.3 World Championships in Las Vegas.

June 24th A Day In The Lakes half Ironman distance. Joe Duckworth 11th overall. Time 5:29. 334 competed.

1st July Liverpool 5150 European championships Olympic distance. Joe Duckworth 17th overall 574 competed. 3rd in 40-45 catagory. Time 2:08. Qualified for the Hi-Vee Championship in Ohio USA.

1st July Trentham Big Half (half Ironman distance). Adam Critchley 8th overall, 233 competed. Time 5:02.

1st July Deva Triathlon Chester. Olympic Distance. Nicki Rushton. 326th overall, 605 competed. Time 2:31. 4th V40 Female. Also in this event was Steve TOMMO Thompson. 565th overall. Time 3:05. Tommo's first tri and only just started open water swimming.

A great effort by all those triathletes who competed over the last month whilst training ridiculously hard.
