The final Mid-Lancs T&F meeting at Preston was mostly a Gouldthorpe occasion with dad Iain a 200m heat winner(26:00) and 4th in the LJ(5:25), twins Dominic 5th in 200m(34:60) & LJ(3:39) and Meghan in LJ(2:27) & javelin(10:2). Joseph Monk flashed through the 1500m in 4:54 and young George Norris came 9th in his 800m(2:40) and 4th in his 1500m(5:36).

Results

A small group from Chorley competed in the Mid Lancs League #2 at Blackburn. Bolu Olofon and Antony Carter claimed excellent points in the 100m, with times of 12.0 and 12.6 respectively. Ryan Sciacca took 3rd in the 800m, with brother Adam also taking a 3rd place in the 1500m. U17 Fergus Tallon came in second in the 800m. Laura Liversey to 3rd place in the 800m, and newcomer U15 Ciera Clitheroe running in her first 800m track event recorded a good time of 3mins 8secs coming in 8th.

Results

Only a small Chorley team attended the first Mid Lancs Track and Field meeting in Blackpool. Bolu Olufon came 5th in the 100m with a time of 12.2secs. Stepping up to senior racing, Ryan Sciacca took two 3rd places in the 400m and 800m, and brother Adam was 2nd in the 1500m. U17 Fergus Tallon took a good 3rd in the 800m.
