17 Club members just dodged the snow at today’s Lostock 6.
Bitter conditions met the runners at this club multi grand prix counter (Road/Trail & Triathlon).
Julian Goudge flew round in what I believe was a PB for the race if not for the distance finishing 1st for the club and 6th overall. Rob Walsh, showing his familiar consistency and ever increasing pace, followed him home in second place.
After a close fought battle between the two, Dave Parkinson just got the better of Phil Iddon with another minute gap to Ainsley Murphy.
Bill Becket was next over the line (I’m sure his parachute jacket added a minute on to his time in drag alone J).
Edward Gilbertson, Daniel Bolton, Stephen Baker, Simon Townsend, Jon Tuson and Les Paul completed our clubs representation with
5 ladies turned out to represent the club today, lead home by Laura Murphy after taking the lead at mile 5 or so from Ruth Whip who finished second just a 9 seconds later.
3rd was Katie Jones, 4th Rachel Gibson & 5th Lara Dickinson all finishing under the same 2min umbrella.
