The Chorley hosting of the Lancashire Red Rose XC event in Astley Park seems to have been another successful venture with good feedback from the 713 competitors who ran. All the juniors ran very well in big nos of contestants making the Club, your coaches & parents proud. The seniors had many missing regulars but were well backed up by others with particularly the ladies having Lisa Johnston(62nd) on the come back trail, Lyndsay Hill(68th) in her first ever race, Jane Bowles(76th) just fighting off Christine Sweatman(77th) who was 3rd in the L55 category, Joanne Heron(82nd), Alison Fowler(84th) and Vicky Burton(86th) coming 17th team and 11th vet team.
